For me tree work started out as just a job for a summer. After a year working on the ground I had the opportunity to try climbing. This unique and challenging job caught my fancy, and became a passion. Climbing naturally lead to an interest in better understanding the trees themselves. How do they grow? How do they respond to our actions? Can we improve our practices to reduce future maintenance needs by making better decisions now? Seeking answers to questions like these has been an intriguing journey. It’s part of the fun along with building a business that delivers quality workmanship as well as supporting a growing network of those who work with me in the tree work industry.
